Jesus died on a Friday, rose on a Sunday, appeared to hundreds, affirmed by testimony, ascended to glory, crowned in victory, sending His Spirit, saving billions!
For the Christian disciple, the days following Easter are exciting, mystifying, repurposing, life-altering, all-engaging-mind-changing and supercalifragilisticexpialodotious! These are days worthy of our exploration, and churches that take the opportunity will lead their people towards maturity.
Let’s think on these things over the next few weeks: Resurrection and Appearing, Testimony and Affirming, Ascension and Crowning, Pentecost and Sending. These will become a curriculum that moves the disciple through the timeline following Easter Sunday and ending at Pentecost.
